Competitive Jazz Team

Strong. Dedicated. Graceful.

EPIC's competitive jazz team is the epitome of hard work, dedication and commitment! This team not only puts in hard work on the stage, they put in hard work year round. From private lessons, technique classes, and jazz team, the young ladies of the jazz team are in the studio on a weekly basis all year to perfect their craft. Their hard work paid off in 2017 when they brought home three awards: High Gold, Double Platinum, and Judge's Choice-Best Broadway Diva at Applause Talent and Hall of Fame Dance Competition. The Judges Choice award was an achievement award given to three teams for outstanding choreography! In 2018, the team brought home First Place and Most Groovy with a Jazz solo, second place with a Jazz trio and third place with a ballet solo!

Interested in joining EPIC's amazingly talented Competition team? Auditions are held every Spring after competition season has ended. Students interested in team are required to take a technique class or private lessons in addition to bi-weekly (twice a week) jazz team rehearsals.
